Mod + Jo is a growing lifestyle brand selling through our own online store, our two retail locations, and wholesale partners. We care about the details — a well-packed order is part of how a customer experiences our brand, whether it's a single gift headed across the country or a wholesale carton headed to another store's shelves. We're a small, close team, and everyone's work is visible and valued.
The Role
We're hiring a seasonal part-time Fulfillment + Assembly Associate to be the support engine of our online orders operation. You'll pack our direct-to-consumer (DTC) online orders quickly and accurately. If you take pride in a tidy station, have attention to detail, and love when an order that arrives perfect, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Pack online orders: pick, pack, and ship DTC orders accurately and on time, following our packaging standards so every order arrives undamaged and on-brand.
- Assemble custom orders: assemble and pack customer’s custom online orders, such as charm necklaces, charm bracelets, and engraved pieces.
- Assist with wholesale orders: assemble and pack larger, multi-unit cartons for wholesale orders, typically batched into the lighter days of the week. (as needed)
- Verify order accuracy: confirm the right items, quantities, and variants are in every order before it's sealed; accuracy is the number-one measure of success in this role.
- Work our systems: process orders and print shipping labels in Shopify, and hand off to carriers within our shipping windows.
- Maintain the station: keep pack stations stocked, clean, and organized; flag low packaging supplies before we run out.
- Restocking inventory bins: restock bins with backstock when they need to be replenished for the next batch of orders.
- Inventory & general support: help keep the office and inventory counts orderly.
- Peak-season push: help us stay ahead of volume and keep lead times short — including added hours and, when needed, extra pack days.
The Schedule
- Normal weeks: Expect roughly [16-20] hours per week in normal weeks, concentrated on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Peak season (Nov–Dec): From mid-November through late December, hours increase significantly, we're open and packing on Tuesdays, and we may add weekend shifts to keep up. Reliable availability through the holidays is essential.
- Reliability: Mondays and Wednesdays are mandatory core days; consistency on these days matters more than total hours.
What We're Looking For
- Sharp attention to detail — you double-check quantities and catch the wrong-variant order before it ships.
- Speed with precision — comfortable working toward a steady pace (around 20-30 orders per hour once trained) without sacrificing accuracy.
- Strong organization and time management; you can prioritize a heavy queue and keep it moving.
- Dependability — you show up on core days.
- A team-first, positive attitude; we're small and we cover for each other.
- Basic comfort with computers and apps; you can learn Shopify's order and shipping tools quickly.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing, reaching, bending, and moving for the length of a shift.
- Repetitive hand and arm motion involved in packing and taping.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in fulfillment or fashion/jewelry retail.
- Familiarity with Shopify.
- Experience with wholesale or B2B order prep.
Compensation & Perks
- $18/hour
- Seasonal position: September - December 2026
- Seasonal with an open door to permanent position
- Generous employee discount + perks
- Friendly and inclusive work environment
- Company wide meals and entertainment

Part-Time Retail Stylist — Mod + Jo, Bishop Arts (Dallas)
Mod + Jo in Bishop Arts is hiring a Part-Time Retail Stylist to join the team. Stylists are the heart of our store — guiding guests through the collection, helping them build charm necklaces, supporting our welding and piercing services, and making sure every moment in the store feels like Mod + Jo. This is a 16-20 hour-a-week role with availability for consistent weekend shifts.
A successful day as a Retail Stylist looks like…
- The floor is clean, styled, and ready before the doors open
- Every guest is greeted warmly the moment they walk in — every time
- Customers leave with pieces they love, because you actually listened to them
- The charm bar stays organized, and every charm necklace gets built with care
- Permanent jewelry and piercing guests are checked in, made comfortable, and walked through the experience start to finish
- Sales goals are met because hospitality and selling are happening together, not separately
- Returns, custom requests, and the occasional curveball get handled with grace
- The store gets restocked, refolded, and reset; the cases stay clean; the energy stays right
- The team finishes the shift feeling good about the day
You're a fit if you…
- Genuinely enjoy taking care of people
- Have natural taste and know how to read a customer
- Stay calm and warm when the floor gets busy
- Are reliable, respectful, and easy to work with
- Can be on your feet for a 6–8 hour shift
- Love jewelry, gifting, and a beautiful store
- Want to grow within a brand, not just clock in
What we're looking for in experience
- 1+ year of retail, hospitality, salon, or other small-team service experience
- Comfort working a POS system (we use Shopify)
- Experience meeting sales goals or service standards
- A track record of showing up, following through, and being someone a team can count on
- No prior experience with charm bar, permanent jewelry, or piercing needed — we train you on all of it
The Details
- Part-time, 16-20 hours a week
- Available for consistent weekend shifts
- $18/hour
- 1.5x holiday pay
- Generous employee discount + team perks
- Hands-on training in our charm bar and customer service standards
- Growth path: standout stylists train into permanent jewelry welding and other specialty services over time — real skills that travel with you wherever you go next
- Internal promotions whenever we can — we like to grow our managers and key holders from within
- Company-wide meals, team events, and a culture that's genuinely friendly and inclusive
