INTERNATIONAL TAXES + DUTIES 

Prices reflected on Mod + Jo do not include taxes and duties. Customers are responsible for paying any taxes and duties due during package delivery. If a package is refused by the customer and is not returned to us, we're not liable or able to provide a refund. Please be informed on the destination countries Tax and Duty rates prior to purchasing.

 

SHIPPING + INSURANCE RATE POLICIES

All shipping charges are non-refundable as service has been rendered. No exceptions.

Please be advised that once the product has been shipped, we do not refund Route Package Protection once the service has been rendered.

 

MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS 

Your order may arrive in multiple packages due to inventory available and any backorder notices on product pages and during check out. Please review any notes on your receipt located inside of your package. Your credit card will be charged only once, during checkout.

If your order is split into multiple shipments, the shipping option chosen at checkout is guaranteed for the first shipment only.  Subsequent shipments will be sent via USPS First Class Mail, as applicable.

*Delivery times go into effect when the package starts tracking, typically 1-2 business days after we receive the order. Orders placed over the weekend and major holidays are fulfilled the next business day. We also do not fulfill on weekends or holidays.

 

TRACKING ORDERS 

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail with tracking information to the email address provided during checkout. Please check your spam folder as sometimes it can be misplaced. In addition, you can track your order by visiting modandjo.com and heading to the My Account section, login, and refer to your recent orders. 

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Route Package protection is automatically added to all online orders placed on modandjo.com. Package insurance is a minimum of $1.55 per order or 3.8% of the order total on orders over $100. If you do not wish to receive package protection, you are able to opt out of this service at your own risk. Please note, if your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in shipment and Route Package Protection was removed from your purchase during checkout, Mod + Jo is not responsible for package replacements or refunds. 

If a package is lost or damaged in transit and is insured by Route, please file a claim within 10 days of the last shipping update. It is the responsibility of the customer to request a claim via the Route claim website. After 10 days, the request will be denied.

You can find the Route claim website here. You will need to have your email address and Route Order Number handy to file your claim.

If your package is lost or damaged in transit and Route insurance was not selected / removed by the customer, therefore not purchased, it is the responsibility of the customer to request a claim via USPS or with the shipping courier service that was used. 

Mod + Jo is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages that are not insured by Route.

EXCHANGES

Orders made at modandjo.com are eligible for exchange by store credit for up to 30 days after the receipt of product.  Exchanges are made for the amount paid regardless of discount at time of purchase, except as stated below (see Promotions).  Mod + Jo provides free exchanges within the continental US only.  Items received through exchange are not eligible for subsequent free exchanges and customer is responsible for additional shipping needs.  A pre-paid, pre-addressed return shipping label will be provided upon request via email to any qualifying order purchased at modandjo.com.  To initiate an exchange, please email hello@modandjo.com and include your order number in your request. 

 

RETURNS

Orders made at modandjo.com are eligible for return for up to 14 business days after the receipt of product.  A pre-paid, pre-addressed return shipping label will be provided upon request via email to any qualifying order purchased on modandjo.com.  Items must be received within 14 days of return request - if items are not returned with in this window, the pre-paid label will be voided and the RMA request will expire.  Refunds to the original payment method will be less any original shipping fees paid (including Route Package Protection) and less a return shipping and handling fee of $5.*  Returns for store credit will not incur a return shipping fee (see exchange policy). To initiate a return, please login or create an account with the email used during checkout. From there, you will be able to initiate the return.*

All returns will be refunded in the amount paid, less $5 return shipping.

Original shipping and shipping insurance is not eligible for refund as services have been rendered. 

*All items must be in unused and unworn condition to receive a refund. If any items show signs of wear, the product will be mailed back and the refund will be voided.

All sales are final on permanently discounted or marked down merchandise (ending in .95-.98). Sale and sample sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.  Custom pieces are not eligible for return or exchange. All custom orders are final sale.

All in-store activations are final sale. This includes permanent jewelry, permanent jewelry charms, and piercing jewelry purchased and pierced with during our events.

Please kindly return all gifted items (e.g. tote bags) with your return to receive the full refund amount.

If your order falls within these guidelines and you would like to make a return - please login or create an account with the emailed used during checkout to begin your return process. Any unauthorized returns can be subject to denial. 

*Please note that there will be a $10 charge if you fail to return your item(s) back with all of the original packaging.

Please allow up to 15 business days for your exchange or return to be processed. Business days are Monday-Friday with the exception of federal holidays. Return processing begins after your package is delivered to us.

Special offers and discount can not be combined with any other offer. One coupon code or discount can be used at a time on modandjo.com and in-store at our studio at 250 N Bishop Ave, #180, Dallas TX 75208. Discounts do not apply to our 14k yellow gold, mAud Permanent Jewelry, gift items such as watches, sunglasses, nail lacquer, hair accents, candles, gift wrap, gift boxes, greeting cards, and gift cards. 

Any promotion not applied at the time of purchase may not be applied after the fact.  Please check your cart and order total before submitting payment.

If you have purchased items that are now on sale, we will gladly offer you a one–time price adjustment on full-price purchases only. Please contact us with your order number within 7 days of original sales purchase. For online or phone orders, please email hello@modandjo.com.

Returning items from a BOGO offer:

Any items purchased during a Buy One Get One (BOGO) deal can be returned for an exchange or for store credit. Items purchased during a BOGO sale are viewed as pairs, one being the purchased item and the other being the free or discounted item.

If both items from a BOGO are returned at the same time, the full amount of the purchase can be refunded in the form of store credit or refund back to the original form of payment.*

The purchased or free items from a BOGO sale are eligible individually for one-time exchange for any item of equal original value.

If only one item from a BOGO sale is returned for store credit, the full value of that original item will be credited to the customer.

If only one item from a BOGO sale is returned for a refund back to the original form of payment, the cost of the original purchase will be split equally between the two items.  Example: Buy 1 Pair Earrings get 2nd Pair 50% off. $50 Hoops + $40 Studs discounted to $20, for order total of $70. Return Hoops, receive $35 refund minus applicable fees.

Returning items from a Buy Two Get One offer:

Any items purchased during a Buy Two Get One (B2GO) deal can be returned for an exchange for qualifying items.* Items purchased during a B2GO sale are viewed as sets, two being the purchased items and the other being the free or discounted item.

If all items from a B2GO are returned at the same time, the full amount of the purchase can be refunded in the form of store credit or refund back to the original form of payment.**

The purchased or free items from a B2GO sale are eligible individually for one-time exchange for any qualifying item* of equal original value.

If only one item from a B2GO sale is returned for store credit, the full value of that original item will be credited to the customer.

If one purchased item from a B2GO sale is returned for a refund back to the original form of payment, the value of the free item will be deducted from the refund. Return of one or both purchased items nullifies the promotion.  Example: Buy 2 Necklaces get 3rd Free. $100 Chain + $80 Pendant + $60 Shorty discounted to $0, for order total of $180. Return Chain, receive $40 refund (100-60) minus applicable fees.

*Qualifying items are within same product category of original offer (example: necklaces). Excludes solid gold and gift collection.

ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS 

An agreement for MOD + JO ("Seller") to sell goods to you ("Purchaser") is made when we accept your order. The description of goods, price and applicable tax are agreed on between Purchaser and Seller when order is placed. Seller's charge for transport, packaging, freight and/or insurance will be included in the final invoice upon shipment and is to be borne by Purchaser.

Placement of an order is a binding agreement. Once placed, all orders are considered final and may not be changed or cancelled. Seller reserves the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of offer or payment and to modify or cancel this promotion due to system error or unforeseen problems.

 

GIFT CARDS

Mod+Jo eCards can be redeemed online only. Gift cards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash value, reloaded with additional value, resold or transferred for value, except where required by law. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. Promotions and other special offers may not be used to purchase a gift card. No sales tax will be charged on the purchase of a gift card. Mod+Jo will not replace lost or stolen gift cards without satisfactory proof of purchase.

 

REPAIRS

Please contact us or email us at hello@modandjo.com with any repair inquiries. Depending on the situation, we may extend free repairs, less shipping. Tarnishing does not constitute a repair.

 

JEWELRY CARE   

Do not wear your gold plated jewelry in water. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes and oils. If you have a known allergy, please be aware when purchasing our plated jewelry as worn jewelry can not be returned for sanitary reasons.
